Fresh Friday Festival kept its Halloween run going in Week 43, following last week's Haunted Carnival by turning the weekly premiere show into a haunted medical asylum. Fenix opened the doors, and Head Nurse Melody oversaw admissions as the lineup checked in.
TMSTRY led off with the cartoon-styled “Nobody's Going Back Inside,” followed by Blegh_AI_Music's “Halloween World.” Mad World TV delivered a double video, “I Blocked Your Number / I Want My Drugs,” and Audio Iterations changed the pace with the colorful creatures of “Found My Pace.” Mr.WhoLab went into the eerie woods with “Free as a Leaf If That's Your Belief,” and Ash Johansen followed with the post-apocalyptic “The Answer.”
KAI brought the larger-than-life “Shrugplosion,” Solo Records presented the crime-tinged “Two Shadows on the Run,” and Steve Anderson AI premiered “Does This Make Me Bad?,” an entry from the 2026 Sandbox Event. Green Lounge Records checked in with “The Strangest Hospital Show You [...]” and Roy Thigpen with “Werewolves in the [...]” before Ione closed the night with the enchanted-forest fantasy “Heart of the Evergreen Grove.”
At publication, the Viewer's Choice race was down to two creators. Fenix will announce the official Viewer's Choice winner and the Staff Pick at the start of the following Friday's show. The Viewer's Choice winner receives a free month of the ElevenLabs Creator plan, a $22 value, through the festival's partnership with ElevenLabs.
Leading Viewer's Choice: Blegh_AI_Music, “Halloween World”
Halloween lasts one night, and Grin, the gold-toothed, red-dreadlocked clown at the center of Blegh_AI_Music's “Halloween World,” finds that unacceptable. In the video, he discovers a world of dancing skeletons, witches, creepy creatures, and supernatural surprises, and he asks one question the whole way through: Why should Halloween end after one night?
The track pairs funky, West Coast-inspired hip-hop with dark comedy and the kind of world-building that gives a single character a whole universe to live in. At publication, it led the Week 43 Viewer's Choice vote.

Two Votes Back: Ash Johansen, “The Answer”
Ash Johansen's “The Answer” sat two votes behind at publication. Its protagonist wanders a post-apocalyptic wasteland in a glittery pink ghillie suit, carrying whiskey and cigarettes and making a series of questionable decisions. When scavengers and a biker gang mistake her for an easy target, the video spirals into animated chaos, with a bent stop sign playing a memorable part.
The song draws on grunge and sludge, and the video leans into dark humor. Behind the Ash Johansen persona is Jason M. Ashley, who writes the music and lyrics and uses AI to give the character her voice.
The video contains exaggerated cartoon violence, gore, smoking, and heavy drinking.
