The winners
The first Zinstrel Challenge, presented by ElevenMusic, invited artists to write and release an original song made with AI tools. Every entry had to use ElevenMusic somewhere in the way it was made — at whichever stage of the workflow suited the writer — with any other tools disclosed, and fifty-one songs were submitted.
Our judging panel picked the eleven finalists, and readers ranked all of them in one public ballot — first place earned 11 points, second earned 10, and so on down to eleventh, with members' ballots counting double and entrants' counting five times. Sixty-five ballots and 9,540 points later, these three songs came out on top, each taking a cash prize and three months of ElevenMusic Pro.
