Alex Viegas is an award-winning Brazilian filmmaker, electronic music producer and founder of Bryan Stenler Studios, an AI-native entertainment and creative studio. His work combines cinematic storytelling, electronic music and emerging technologies to create audiovisual experiences, original music and virtual talent. His films and audiovisual projects have received international awards and selections across the UK, France, India and other markets, while his creative trajectory has been featured by G1/Globo. Through his music, Viegas is developing a cinematic electronic sound spanning melodic techno, EDM and dark electronic influences, connecting Brazilian creativity with a growing international audience.

With more than four decades of composing behind him and advanced training in electronic and computer music, his work moves freely through industrial, EBM, breakbeat, jungle, trip-hop, post-punk, and contemporary classical traditions. A co-host of the AI Underground’s AI Factory, DLayman approaches AI as a compositional laboratory: another instrument for exploring form, sound, narrative, and the increasingly strange relationship between human creativity and machines.

“The book slowly stopped. The band didn’t.”

I’m a writer based in Sweden, and I write every lyric performed by The Leftovers.

The project began with a private manuscript shaped by grief, memory, and the loss of a close friend. It was never meant to become music. But somewhere inside that story, a fictional band appeared — The Leftovers.

Curiosity about how those characters might sound led me to begin writing lyrics in their voices. Those words gradually became original songs. Over time, the book paused, but the band kept going.

The Leftovers lives somewhere between fiction and feeling — a music and storytelling project built from human-written lyrics, memory, character, and intent. I write the words, develop the stories, and direct the creative world surrounding every song.

At the center is Marlow — the fictional voice of The Leftovers. Driven by a raw punk heart and an unfiltered edge, she gives voice to the words and characters that first appeared on the page.

The songs move through grief, identity, doubt, imperfection, and the strange ways stories can take on lives of their own.

VESOTTO makes songs for the thoughts that return after the moment has passed—the choices we reconsider, the contradictions we live with, and the meanings that only time can reveal.
