Beatoven.ai, from India, makes royalty-free instrumental music for videos, podcasts, games and courses. You set moods that change across a track, so a score can shift as a video does, and you can regenerate specific sections or download stems. It has two models: Composer, which is faster and rule-based, and Maestro, a foundation model with a richer sound, with tracks up to 15 minutes. It's Fairly Trained certified, meaning its models use only licensed data, and it's partnering with Musical AI on a fully licensed generator that pays rights holders. The license covers monetized content but doesn't allow releasing tracks to streaming services.
