ChatGPT

ChatGPT is the most widely used AI assistant, and in AI music workflows it's a common starting point for drafting lyrics, brainstorming song concepts and artist bios, and writing style prompts for generators. It also generates images for cover concepts and can research and analyze. Plans differ mainly in which models you get, how much context a conversation holds, and usage limits. It no longer includes Sora video, which OpenAI discontinued in 2026.
