Co-write songs with licensed AI models of real artists and songwriters, and share the earnings with them.
SoundBreak takes the opposite approach to prompt-and-go generators: fans and aspiring writers co-write with official AI versions of artists and songwriters who opted in and licensed their work. You bring lyrics or an idea and get melodies in that writer's style, and the models are trained on their songwriting rather than cloning their voice. Finished songs can go straight to Spotify, Apple Music and TikTok, and earnings are split between the user and the featured artist, a model the company compares to sample clearance. It launched in February 2026, co-founded by Better Than Ezra frontman Kevin Griffin, has drawn support from some Nashville songwriters, and also runs inside ChatGPT as a plugin.
