Deezer AI Detection

Deezer was the first major streaming service to detect and openly label fully AI-generated albums, starting its tagging in June 2025. Its data has become a key industry barometer: AI tracks passed 50% of daily uploads in mid-2026, about 90,000 a day, yet account for only 1–3% of streams, and Deezer says up to 85% of streams on fully AI tracks were fraudulent. It removes fraudulent streams from royalties, has patented its detection method, and now licenses the tool to the rest of the industry. It detects output from generators such as Suno and Udio.
