TuneCore, owned by France's Believe, distributes to more than 150 stores and lets artists keep 100% of streaming royalties on its paid plans. It accepts AI-assisted and AI-generated music but asks for detailed disclosure of how AI was used, and it pauses flagged tracks for resubmission rather than removing them outright. Its publishing administration takes 20% of songwriter royalties. It's been in a turbulent stretch, with a CEO departure in January 2026 and a reported $500 million UMG settlement with Believe and TuneCore in April 2026.
